Following the diet wasn't particularly difficult or expensive although, initially, I found giving up my daily soy latte kind of hard. I already take high-doses of fish oil every day (I have chronic asthma and my specialist recommended high doses of Omega-3s to help with that), and a multivitamin, so adding in extra zinc and magnesium supplements was simple enough.
I enjoyed eating the half-ounce of dark chocolate a day, and the meals Lindburg suggests in the book aren't far off what I usually eat (lean meats, lots of vegetables, fruit, stir-fry etc). Being more conscious about what I was stuffing in my face (and avoiding sugary snacks, which are my weakness) did make me drop a couple of pounds, which never hurts in the feeling sexy department.
I probably didn't put enough effort in to the exercise part of the diet, though I attempted the Kegels (pelvic floor muscle exercises that are basically about tensing and releasing your lady parts) whenever I remembered. I didn't buy the GyneFlex that Lindburg suggests, which works like a vaginal Thighmaster, to strengthen my inner muscles and increase genital circulation.
I was pretty skeptical, and figured because I'd kind of skipped the special exercises that nothing would happen. However, after a week of following the diet I did notice a difference.
I'm single and not actually getting any so my actual testing of the explosiveness of my orgasm was limited, but I definitely noticed a difference in my mood. I was flirtier, and even more interested in men than usual, like I was walking around with an intensified appreciation of the opposite sex. I did have sexy dreams, good ones, and I felt more attractive. I felt naturally high following the orgasm diet.
As good as I felt, I am at heart a lazy bitch, so following it for more than a week was just too much of an effort. Once my trial was over I went back to drinking coffee and using soy and all the other things Lindburg advises avoiding. Shame on me, I know.
I am sure that just following a healthier diet in general will make me, and you, feel better anyway. And for someone that is having trouble with feeling horny this diet could definitely be worth a shot.
