Erotic Piercings Explained

Here are some of the more common erotic piercings:

Clitoral Hood

Fairly self explanatory, the piercing goes through the hood of the clitoris, either horizontally or vertically.

Clitoris
Through the actual clitoris, fairly rare and potentially more risky as a bad piercing could result in nerve damage and loss of sensation.

Frenum
A horizontal piercing that goes through the loose skin at the base of the head of the penis.

Prince Albert
This piercing goes through the shaft just below the head, exiting up through the urethra at the tip of the penis. Possibly the most common male genital piercing. Named after Queen Victoria's husband, who apparently had it to keep his bulge under control and strapped down (there is no actual evidence that this is true).

Tongue
A piercing through the tongue is often done for reasons of giving head, as wearing different jewelry can provide different sensations to the lucky recipient.

Labia
The inner and outer labia can be pierced anywhere it is desired to do so.

Hafada
Used to describe piercings that go through the loose scrotal skin.

Nipples
Can be pierced horizontally or vertically in order to increase sensation when played with.

Ampallang
A horizontal piercing through the glans of the penis, which can also go through the urethra.

Apadravya
As above, except as a vertical piercing.

Guiche
Piercing through the perineum (or taint, as it is known in popular culture).
