How to Tell if He/She is Flirting

Sometimes it's hard to tell if someone's just being friendly or if there's more to it. So how can you tell if someone's getting fresh with you?
Guys
Women often employ the 'stare and look away' tactic when flirting with guys, so if the lady in question looks at you then averts her gaze when you catch her staring, it's a pretty good sign she's interested.
If a woman asks what you like doing for fun, it's unlikely to be innocent small talk; she's paving the way for you to ask her out on a date. Tell her you love salsa dancing/Italian food/horror movies, and then ask her to join you sometime...
If a woman initiates intimate gestures, such as touching you lightly on the arm when making a point or brushing up close to you to make sure you can hear what she's saying, then, hello, this lady is flirting with you.
Girls
Guys will signal to a woman that they are interested by subtly stepping back from the group they are with. This not only allows them a better view of their target, but also sends a message that says available and interested.
When a guy finds a woman attractive, he will make eye contact with her and then surreptitiously drop his eyes to his crotch. Subtle, I know, but this behavior is animal instinct at its finest. He's inviting you to check out the whole… uh, package.
If a guy sets his sights on someone he finds attractive, he's at the mercy of a compulsive urge to preen himself. Notice how he plays with his hair, fiddles with his shirt, and keeps touching his face? All dead giveaways that he finds you attractive.
Also, when we are pleased with what we are seeing and experiencing, our pupils will dilate. This is involuntary and, therefore, quite a good indicator of whether someone likes you or not. So, check for big pupils.
